Milena Canonero created the sumptuous 18th century gowns for Stanley Kubrick’s beautiful 1975 film Barry Lyndon, as well as Sofia Coppola’s 2006 film Marie Antoinette. Both films earned Melina an Academy Award for Best Costume Design.

Milena seems to have used some of her older 18th century creations in her newer work.  This gown was first seen on Marisa Berenson as Lady Honoria Lyndon and then again on Rose Byrne as the Duchesse de Polignac.
